Template. This text is a short starting template that describes what the software does today. The project owner must have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and local laws) before the game is opened to the public. Items in [brackets] must be filled in.

1. Controller

[Operator legal name, address] is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [privacy email address].

2. Data we collect

Account: username, password (stored only as a salted argon2id hash, never in plain text), optional email address, preferred language, role, and the version and time of the Terms you accepted.
Technical: IP address and browser user-agent when you register, sign in or keep a session; security and anti-fraud logs (for example trades and stall sales may record the IP address).
Game data: characters, items, currency, mail, friends, guild, progress and in-game actions needed to run the Game and to detect cheating.
Invite code: which beta invite code was used to register.
We do not ask for real names, phone numbers, payment details or precise location, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use it and legal basis

To provide the Game and your account (contract).
To keep the Game safe and fair, prevent fraud, bots and mass sign-ups (legitimate interests).
To contact you about your account or the beta, if you gave an email (contract / legitimate interests).
To meet legal obligations (legal obligation).

4. Cookies and local storage

One strictly necessary cookie keeps you signed in (vlp_rt, HTTP-only, same-site). The browser's local storage remembers your language and interface preferences. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers ([hosting provider, CDN/proxy such as Cloudflare if used, email provider if used]) under contracts that protect it. We may disclose data when the law requires it or to protect the safety of players and the service.

6. International transfers

The servers may be located outside your country. [Lawyer to confirm transfer mechanisms, e.g. standard contractual clauses.]

7. Retention

Account and game data: while your account exists.
Sessions: up to 30 days after sign-in.
Security and anti-fraud logs: [retention period, e.g. 90 days].
Backups: rotated on a schedule; deleted data disappears from backups when they expire ([backup retention]).
The closed beta data may be erased entirely when the beta ends.

8. Your rights, including deleting your account

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to delete it. You can delete (anonymize) your account yourself in the game: character-selection screen → Account → Delete my account (you must be out of the game on every device and confirm with your password and account name). You can also write to [privacy email address]; we answer within [30 days].

What deletion does: your username is replaced, your email, IP addresses, sessions and two-factor data are removed, your characters are deleted and their names released. We keep game records that no longer identify you (for example item and currency logs tied to an internal number) and legal or security records we must keep. Deletion cannot be undone. You may complain to your data-protection authority.

9. Children

The Game is not for children under 13 (or the higher age in your country, see Terms). If you believe a child gave us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls, rate limiting and two-factor authentication for staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, the version number changes and we will ask you to accept the new version.

Mã mời: mã mời beta nào đã dùng để đăng ký.
Chúng tôi không hỏi họ tên thật, số điện thoại, thông tin thanh toán hay vị trí chính xác, và không dùng quảng cáo hay công cụ theo dõi phân tích.

3. Mục đích và cơ sở pháp lý

Cung cấp Game và tài khoản của bạn (thực hiện hợp đồng).
Giữ Game an toàn, công bằng; ngăn gian lận, bot, đăng ký hàng loạt (lợi ích chính đáng).
Liên hệ về tài khoản hoặc beta nếu bạn cung cấp email (hợp đồng / lợi ích chính đáng).
Tuân thủ nghĩa vụ pháp lý.

4. Cookie và bộ nhớ cục bộ

Một cookie thật sự cần thiết giữ trạng thái đăng nhập (vlp_rt, chỉ HTTP, cùng site). Bộ nhớ cục bộ của trình duyệt nhớ ngôn ngữ và tuỳ chọn giao diện. Không dùng cookie quảng cáo hay theo dõi của bên thứ ba.

5. Chia sẻ

Chúng tôi không bán dữ liệu của bạn. Dữ liệu được xử lý bởi nhà cung cấp máy chủ và hạ tầng ([nhà cung cấp hosting, CDN/proxy như Cloudflare nếu dùng, nhà cung cấp email nếu dùng]) theo hợp đồng bảo vệ dữ liệu. 7. Thời gian lưu trữ

8. Quyền của bạn, gồm xoá tài khoản

Tuỳ nơi bạn sống, bạn có thể có quyền truy cập, chỉnh sửa, xuất, hạn chế hoặc phản đối việc sử dụng dữ liệu, và quyền xoá dữ liệu. Bạn có thể tự xoá (ẩn danh) tài khoản trong game: màn chọn nhân vật → Tài khoản → Xoá tài khoản của tôi (cần thoát game trên mọi thiết bị và xác nhận bằng mật khẩu và tên tài khoản). Bạn cũng có thể viết tới [email về quyền riêng tư]; chúng tôi trả lời trong [30 ngày].

Việc xoá làm gì: tên đăng nhập bị thay, email, địa chỉ IP, phiên đăng nhập và dữ liệu hai lớp bị gỡ, nhân vật bị xoá và tên được giải phóng. Chúng tôi giữ các bản ghi game không còn định danh bạn (ví dụ nhật ký vật phẩm và tiền gắn với số hiệu nội bộ) và các bản ghi pháp lý hoặc bảo mật bắt buộc phải giữ. Việc xoá không thể hoàn tác. Bạn có quyền khiếu nại tới cơ quan bảo vệ dữ liệu.

9. Trẻ em

Game không dành cho trẻ dưới 13 tuổi (hoặc độ tuổi cao hơn ở nước bạn, xem Điều khoản). Nếu bạn cho rằng một trẻ đã cung cấp dữ liệu cá nhân cho chúng tôi, hãy liên hệ để chúng tôi xoá.

10. Bảo mật

Chúng tôi bảo vệ dữ liệu bằng kết nối mã hoá, băm mật khẩu, kiểm soát truy cập, giới hạn tần suất và xác thực hai lớp cho tài khoản quản trị. Không hệ thống nào an toàn tuyệt đối.

11. Thay đổi

Nếu chính sách thay đổi đáng kể, số phiên bản sẽ đổi và chúng tôi sẽ yêu cầu bạn chấp nhận bản mới.
